The challenge was to optimise ticket control processes, reduce waiting times for passengers and at the same time personalise the service on the train. Deutsche Bahn wanted to make long-distance travel more attractive and increase passenger satisfaction.

This service enables travellers to check their ticket on their smartphone in the train and thus mark themselves as already checked in. Passengers are thus guaranteed an undisturbed travel experience, while train staff are relieved at the same time.
