Our tried-and-tested approach combines structured analysis with targeted implementation – methodologically sound and tailored to individual needs. It is based on the ATAM framework (Architecture Trade-off Analysis Method), which we have extended to take into account not only the architecture but also processes, teams and the system’s history.

In addition, we conduct interviews with key stakeholders – particularly on key topics such as strategic challenges, business requirements, technical debt, documentation quality or the application of architectural guidelines.

Preparation & Kick-off

Together, we will clarify the scope, the framework conditions and your company-specific objectives. At the kick-off meeting, we will establish a shared understanding of the existing system. We will make efficient use of existing artefacts as the basis for our analysis.

Based on the defined questions, we carry out an in-depth analysis of technical, organisational and documentation-related aspects. The System Review goes significantly further than the Health Check – particularly in critical areas such as architectural decisions, technical debt or governance.
