We were immediately won over by the idea behind iteratec’s student lab. The young developers put their heart and soul into the project, quickly took ownership of our brief and came up with numerous ideas: the result is a completely revamped APPzumARZT, a genuine prevention manager that makes it even easier to stay healthy. Preventative healthcare made easy
Preventative check-ups and vaccinations are crucial for preventing illness. To promote a healthier society, it is essential to take preventative measures in good time and to detect illnesses at an early stage. However, many people are unaware of which services are covered by statutory health insurance schemes. The APPzumARZT app explains preventive healthcare measures in an easy-to-understand way and makes it easy for the whole family to plan for them.
Originally developed in 2011, the app was to be technologically redesigned and, with a user-centred interface, appeal to an even wider audience.
User-centred design
The completely revamped app, which has also been given a new design, offers a wide range of new features: a health test to determine your individual cardiac age, a glossary with detailed information on all preventive healthcare services, an introductory tutorial and more options for personalising profiles. During development, iteratec benefited from considerable freedom, enabling it to develop the best technological solution for the APPzumARZT and to focus entirely on users’ needs.
Its intuitive operation, user-centred design and new features make the APPzumARZT a valued companion and provide access to free medical services – for a healthier society.
Thanks to the new app’s unified code base, operation and further development are significantly simpler and more cost-effective.
