Audi drivers can take advantage of extended support from Audi in the event of a claim. To optimise this support, our software system firstly controls the collection of customer and vehicle data. The system also coordinates the process between the call centre, customer portal and service partners.
The challenges include handling sensitive data, use by different user groups, international rollout and expansion to other group brands.
Our solution was developed in an agile manner in a full-stack team using the BizDevOps model. This included connecting and aggregating backend services for customer and vehicle data, integrating with existing applications and actively developing the cloud platform.

As part of the digitalisation of production at the Mercedes-Benz Group, we were faced with the challenge of transferring the existing IT-supported processes, which were previously based on classic desktop applications, to a modern, mobile environment. The requirements were clear: apps and web applications had to be developed that would not only run on tablets and smartphones, but would also function reliably under difficult conditions - such as a lack of Wi-Fi or mobile phone coverage. They had to be able to be used by foremen, fitters and engineers directly on the shop floor, and provide reliable data synchronisation even when offline.
Our solution was a holistic approach, from the conception and design of the apps to the implementation of the front-end and back-end and the integration of the interfaces. Special emphasis was placed on the customisability and usability of the applications. This enabled us to develop a consistent framework that not only increased development efficiency, but also ensured seamless integration into the existing IT infrastructure.
The added value of our work is reflected in the successful global implementation and high level of customer satisfaction. The solutions have significantly simplified and accelerated the production processes at Mercedes-Benz.
n order to provide the car sharing service, the BMW and MINI vehicles have to be equipped with a car sharing client for monitoring and controlling the use of the vehicles, and a distributed service infrastructure has to be set up between the participating partners to handle the booking processes for the vehicles.
When introducing the BMW and MINI car sharing service, the challenge was to comprehensively digitise the vehicles and to create a robust infrastructure for the booking processes. To meet this challenge, iteratec supported BMW in the design and implementation of a car sharing client on an Android platform and the associated backend services as part of the ConnectedDrive platform.
The added value of this project lies in the expansion of BMW's product portfolio with an innovative mobility solution developed specifically for urban areas. By combining intelligent services with mobile solution concepts, BMW now offers an advanced car-sharing option that significantly improves both the flexibility and accessibility of urban mobility.
